"I decided to get involved with the I’m Glad You Stayed Project because it’s something that hits close to home for me. I’ve had multiple attempts within my immediate family, and also the suicide of a close friend’s family member. I saw the effect they had, and from there my eyes opened to all of the mental health stigma around me.
When I first heard of IGYSP, I loved everything about it. The resources that are given, the story behind why it was started, and the fact that there are so many ways to get involved!
I am so excited to be able to learn, share, and help others that are in need of support and resources. Everyone deserves to be heard, to be supported, and to not be judged for their mental health."
