Open conversations about mental health and suicide prevention can save lives. The I’m Glad You Stayed Project is dedicated to starting these conversations, and our President, Abbey Schley, and Event Coordinator, Haley Lynch, lead the charge by sharing a powerful message of hope and action with communities like yours.

Meet Our Speaker

Abbey Schley

Presidentabbey@imgladyoustayedproject.org

Abbey founded The I’m Glad You Stayed Project to create a world where no one has to struggle with their mental health alone. Drawing from personal experience and a deep commitment to youth wellness, she connects with audiences of all ages, inspiring them to become advocates for suicide prevention in their own communities.

Haley Lynch

Event Advisor, QPR Trainer, and Speakerinfo@imgladyoustayedproject.org

Haley is passionate about mental health advocacy, suicide prevention, and offers bereavement support to those whose lives have been affected by suicide loss. As a suicide loss survivor, survivor of multiple suicide attempts, and someone living with a mental illness, Haley has made it her goal in life to share her lived experiences as candidly and safely as possible, with a mixture of honesty and a bit of humor. It’s her hope that someday we will not be considered courageous for sharing our stories, we will simply be talking.
