I joined I’m Glad You Stayed Project because I never want anyone to feel so alone, they do not want to be in this world anymore. *Trigger warning* I not only have I had an attempt in the past, but family members of mine have also attempted. I have worked in a jail for 9 years and I’ve witnessed more suicide attempts then I want to admit... IGYSP means someone doesn’t have to suffer the loss of a loved one, and that loved one can get the help they deserve. Even if in the moment you feel like you want to leave, someone will always be glad you stayed. I stayed and now I have a beautiful daughter, a beautiful fur-child and a wonderful loving, goofy husband. Stay, find joy and someday you can help someone too.
